was having no start problem so i replaced cam/crank sensor, coil, ignition control module, and entire distributor so it runs now but seems to be off like the engine may be missfiring when hitting the gas but the motor just seems to be weak, or maybe off time a little. Any way to know whats causing it or is it just from all the new sensors and parts.

you dizzy my not be zeroed out in terms of the CAM_RETARD data reading available to you using a scanner that can read it. on a '99 the rpm is raised to 1800 about. and you adjust the dizzy till the reading is 0.0 degrees +- 2.0 degrees.

a crank/case relearn should also be performed on your pcm for your year if the crank sensor is changed out.
Thank you, took it to shop he said he got the cam from -24 to -6 but couldn't run the relearn because my brake sensor is not registering in the computer, it runs a lot stronger now but I have a P0300 now and P0301

misfiring. most predominantly in cylinder 1. cam retard is still out. if the dizzy has an obstruction while turn you may have to reset the install by one gear tooth. you need to be anywhere between +2 to -2 at 2000 rpm. sorry but i was off 200 rpm. 1800 was incorrect so check again before redoing install. my apologies.
We got it to +1 so it's in specs. New plugs and wires, ignition control, distributor, and crank sensor but it's still throwing missfires but you can't even tell it drives great...how can I do a crank re learn is there a way to do it without a scanner. We put a bracket from a distributor that can turn so we moved this distributor to where we got the cam retard in specs, this distributor had a fixed bracket.
