Ive been noticing at start up after sitting for a night thr HOE has a weird tick once warm it goes away.. Could this just be valve tick? Otherwise what could It be?

And if it is , would running a thicker oil help at all , we run synthetic and it seems to have started once we hit the fall/winter months.

that or belt noise.unless it gets worse I would leave it alone.

Along with another post, i've been noticing the oil pressure drops, then rises while driving more so if im going up or down an incline or turning , I've heard it tick fairly loud while driving when the pressure drops but then once it rises it goes away....


I was told it could be the oil pump.. or a bad oil filter possibly? It's been happening for roughly 3weeks at most and didn't actually notice the pressure was dropping on the gauge until i noticed the "Check Gauges" light came on..

if it goes up or down during an incline your level must be low or something is blocking the pick up.

Problem has been fixed, It was the oil filter
