Howdy All,
I Have a 99' Yukon 125K Hard to start when engine cold (not cranking) when it warms up runs and starts first try. New battery, new fuel pump about a year ago (fuel gauge went out about 2 months after) tuned up w/ plug, wires, dist and button, ran some good cleaner in tank still hard to start after it sits for a few hours. Seems like a possible fuel issue on initial ignition, but pump works fine after it starts.. Plenty of spark and battery. A short shot of starter fluid in the intake makes it start right up. Any suggestions? MAP sensor? Fuel Pressure? (Trade it for a FORD...ha ha) almost feels like distributor is off a hair but not really missing at all. Advance parts pulled a code for a misfire before tune-up but that was the only code. they didnt give me the code number. Thx for any suggestions! running out of ideas and $$$
