99 Yukon 5.7L Vortec

Hey guys, I'm interested in getting a single in dual out exhaust system from the cat back. Any suggestions? Flowmaster? Magnaflow?

Also, what mods can I do to increase gas mileage?

uh the dual in -single out is better and you already have that.

get a shop to weld in a new muffler for a little better sound and be done with it. Cost is 150-200 for a flow master installed.

Flowmaster Original 40 + super loud = drone

Magnaflow + deep = great sound

I'll just echo whats already been said, stay with the dual in for sure. I have a dual in, dual out Flowmaster 50 series on my 99', sounds really good.

I had a single in dual out 40 series in my 95' and it was way too load, with way too much drone.

I haven't had a chance to hear a Magnaflow yet but I've heard they sound great.

judging by your picture the flowmaster is not your problem. your environment and your install position is.
