Greetings from Des Moines. Picked up a 1999 GMC Yukon SLT last week. 163k miles, excellent mechanical condition. Spent the weekend removing the little bit of rust there was. Used some Rustoleum Bed Liner to coat the rockers and fender flares. It came out surprisingly well. Especially considering the $1500 quote I got from Line-X.
I rehabbed the Soft 8s that came with it and installed some flat black center caps I found on Summit. Also ordered a set of black lug nuts.
The interior is a bit rough and the stereo is somewhat lacking. New carpet came in Friday, and once the tailored seat covers and stereo stuff comes in, I'll get all of that installed. After that, I think I'll be pretty happy.
