A/C Compressor Question

Hey TYF!

my mechanic just put on a A/C compressor but its still not working he said its not "engaging"...Any suggestions or thoughts what it might could be could the compressor be defective? I also changed the A/C relay if that was an option

Say be defective, i went thru 3 bad power steering pumps and a defective steering box in a row.

Freon charge levels disabling the clutch engagement, defective pressure switches, bad electric control circuits. A good mechanic can find these things. With some decent scanning software the mechanic can narrow it down because the computer can distinguish from a/c request from control head and weather or pressure switch conditions warrant it or is disabling it. And also weather or not it enabled the output to the relay to activate it. Mine does anyway.
