so i recently sold my obs 99 denali and picked up a 03 yukon. after 2 weeks of driving i noticed the passenger side carpet is wet and smells horrible. a friend of mine had this same issue with his silverado and it turned out the a/c evaporator drain tube was clogged. i noticed while inspecting the evaporator these trucks do not have a drain tube in the same location as the silverados do?? if someone knows anything about this issue any help would be great. thanks in advance

Same problem!

Hi, I'm having the same problem and have had the drain tube checked/cleaned, the system dumped and recharged, and had pressure checked and confirmed and still can't figure out where the water is coming from on my passenger side floorboard on my 2004 Yukon XL. Did you ever figure out what the problem was and get this issue fixed? If so, I'd love to learn from you so please let me know either way. Thanks!

Not sure about the nbs, but I know on the obs they had this problem where water was getting in a screw hole or something in the cowl?? on passenger side. The vent beneath the windshield. Might be a similar problem.

damn this was like a year ago. yes i did figure it out. turns out that my truck had the evaporator replaced when it was traded in and there was a piece of rubber stuck in the drain tube. im assuming the rubber came from the old evaporator hose i dont see how else it would get there

Thanks so much for responding. How did they find the piece of rubber in your drain tube...did they have to take apart the entire dash to find and fix this? Thanks!
