Newbie here. Hello to all!
Got a nice Yukon. Everything works well. Has 88K on the clock.
Should have checked the A/C at the dealer when we got it over the winter.
Figured that we wouldn't be able to tell the difference because it was so cold out anyway.
Turned it on using the snowflake button. Didn't hear compressor. Blows warm in front and rear. Charged 2/3 can R134a and compressor started to cycle on and off. GREAT! Still no cold air. Did that last night. Pressure on gauge reading in correct zone for outside air temp. Tested pressure this morning and compressor not cycling. Pressure dropped. Last night after I charged it, I walked along the passenger side and heard a hissing. Got down and on the inside of the rocker panel, there is a cluster of 3-4 aluminum line. One was hot, the others ambient. There is a leak there. Could that be an A/C line?

Welcome. Yes, 2 are for the rear heat and 2 are for the rear a/c. Also, the a/c compressor will cycle on and off.
