So my A/C has been going crazy lately. What happens is that minutes after you turn the truck on and take off, the drives side goes to HOT like if I had moved the drivers side climate control all the way to HOT.
I have to turn the truck off and then back on for it to go back to COLD. It will do this every once in a while. More often than than I would like (NEVER).
Now, I thought it was the control module itself where the knobs are. So I recently replaced it with a new unit. It was blowing HOT at first. I had to turn the truck on and off several time until both sides were cold as inticated on the controls. I tested it several times going from hot to cold on both sides and indipendently and so on. It was working fine.
So my sister borrowed my truck and she tells me it did it again. WTH could it be!?

My control module is not digital. Has the dual climate control and rear defrost.
