So I got the front diff issue all worked out and Sunday was warm so I turned on the A/C for the first time since I've owned the truck and I swear it sounded like I had a P-51 Mustang taking off under my hood. I found the TSB on the web about liquid slugging in the compressor but good damn luck finding out what the hell that means on the net. Anyone out there that can offer some insight to my airplane under my hood when the compressor engages.

Liquid slugging is what the TSB called it but it seems that GM is the only people that call it that as I can't find a definition anywhere.

Little update. I crawled under the truck when i got home today and there's green crap all over the bottom passenger side of the engine bay. I think it's the dye they put in the freon when they charge the system. Think my compressor is a goner.
