A/C problem

I have a 1996 tahoe, the A/C blows ice cold for the first 10 minutes but then then blows hot, the compressor is engaged ok and I have checked the gas pressure which is ok.
Is the compressor faulty ?

Can to get h/l reading posted here before the a/c is started, 30 seconds of running, pressure just before clutch cutoff and ten min later when it gets hot again. and the pressures with clutch on/off at that point. Plus outside air temp humidity Nd air temp from inside center dash vent at the same time. This could really help finding your issue for us since we are not where you are at.

Are you saying that while the compressor clutch is still on, the truck suddenly blows warm air?

In that case either there is moisture or particles in the system clogging up the orifice tube, or the blend door is moving.

You could always clamp down the heater hose inlet to stop hot water flow to test it.
