I know it was covered on the other site a while back, not sure if it has been on here yet (can't find it if it has), but how do you get rid of the bad A/C smell when the A/C has been used a bunch? I know there are temporary fixes but wasn't there permanent fix to the sour smell the A/C puts out?

Condensation builds up on the evap core then mold starts to grow, which is where the smell comes from. There is a controller you can wire in to the blower motor that will turn the blower on for 5 mins after the truck is turned off. This will dry the evap core and prevent mold from growing. There's also a cleaning and deodorizing process you can perform to get rid of the existing mold and smell.
I'll see if I can find the part number for the blower motor control.
