Hey guys, from reading threads here I'm generating more questions about my truck hah.

1) at start up for 5-10 seconds right after start up if I'm standing near the rear end of the truck I hear a buzzing, like an actuator. makes me think it's the fuel pump, is this standard or should I be worried.

2) the battery ground seems to be of low quality because the headlights dim when the truck is on, parked and I lower or raise the windows. Has anybody tried to get a heavier duty ground, will that fix it?

3) when i'm at a light I notice the RPM's not entirely holding steady, I see a +/- 100 RPM dip rise every now and then. is that standard?

4) where are the vents on the bottom of the rear doors I've read about here that get gunked up and cause water to collect in the doors from rain... should I pre-emptively spray some wd-40 into them (if I can find them) to hope that this doesn't happen?

5) What should the stock tires on a 2009 LTZ be, I have bridgestone dueler's. They held up ok in the couple snow storms I've had it for here in chicago but had a full on fishtail in one instance while in 4 auto; so thinking about getting better rubber, any recommendations for grippier tires for the stock 20's?

6) Planning on taking the truck with me camping at country thunder wisconsin this summer and if any of you have been there you know that every year there's atleast one intense rain storm (hence the country "thunder") and I was wondering how you guys feel the tahoe would hold up on muddy/ rutted terrain with the stock wheels/ tires vs a smaller wheel and knobbier tire combo?

Thanks!

Buzzing is the Autoride filling up. You said LTZ right?

1. Auto ride like Lee said. Normal to come on for a second or two at start up, as long as its not always on

2. Search or look up "big 3" mod

3. Meh, not a big deal. Could be fixed with answer to #2

4. Don't worry about it. I haven't heard of that many people having issues even on a 10 year old SUV.

Not sure about 5 or 6... I go low and keep it on the pavement
