Well, since I got the truck back after it got stolen, it feels like nothing on my truck feels right. Recently I installed HID Fog Lights from DDM on the truck. I had to connect the kit directly into the wiring of the fog lights since the stock harness from the truck and the harness on the ballast didn't match up.

So now when I turn on my fog light the ABS, Brake Light, and Traction Control light turn on. The ABS and Brake Light don't turn on automatically, they turn on after a couple of minutes of the fog lights being on. The Traction Control light comes on and off by itself.

Now, if I do not turn on my fog lights there are no errors at all. I have checked all fuses and everything is good. I am thinking something isn't grounded correctly but I have checked everything I possibly can. I am running out of ideas.

Can someone please help me out? Thanks!

Do you get any flicker? Using the harness from DDM, or the error code eliminator? It sounds like it's the HID setup based on your info. Have you called DDM to get help? I've heard nothing but good things about them. Good luck.

No, the HIDs work fine. No problems at all. I am thinking maybe I need to put a relay on my HIDs for some reason? Maybe it is making the truck give an error because there is too much power to the fogs? ... shoot, i don't know anymore.

Since it's stolen...the wiring is probably FUBAR. We really don't have much to go on with beside your description. :hmm:
Pics off things cut and things wired back would help. Otherwise, it's a shot in the dark.

Id say it could definately be a bad ground or power backfeeding(not likely). I would pull the ABS and PCM codes(DTC'S) and see if that points you in any direction. I would also strip and inspect any wiring additions and/or splices for wire chaffing or corrosion at connections. Good luck!
