Hello everyone, I have a 05 Tahoe PPV with 146K on it. A few problems are starting creep up. My alt guage is acting weird. Occassionally the guage will read well above 12 volts, the guage will be near the higher range toward the right, it has never reached 19v. I have tested the alt with my multimeter while this happening and the alt is fine. So how do you replace the guage? Secondly, I think the tranny is starting to die, when going from 2nd to 3rd it has started to hesistate sometimes and last night I noticed a hestitation from 3rd to 4th. This started a few days ago. The tranny has 146k on it, I am in the Chicagoland area, who you guys recommend for a new stock tranny? I have nor do I plan any performance mods and I don't want to go with a rebuild as I know that's just buying time. I have looked on car-part.com and the trannys I found listed last night in my area have as many or miles than my current one.
