I know this should be in the exterior forum but in case you missed it. I posted up the new halo projectors I just installed. Albeit with a few stupid mistakes at first.
But I think they look sweet now.
Just wanted to thanks the members for the good advise and feedback. Dont know where I would be without you guys and your hot rides.

We should def try to get everyone together at some point for a meet up.
I know it's unlikely as we are all spread across the country but hey you never know

Looks good bro. Post a pic of the light output on the ground, against a wall or anyway to show the actuall light output it spreads infront of ur Hoe. I always have liked those Halo projectors, just don't like Halos anymore after having a set. Might have just been my lights, but with the highbeam light being round like the lowbeam projector, just seemed like when I did use my high beams, the light output sucked since it wouldn't spread the light out like regular halogen, or other projectors like my Depo's do. Just my opinion, but again, coulda just been my Halo's.
Can you gain access to your projector and actually take it out? If so, you should mod the shield!!! One of my favorite mods I have done.

Very nice though bro. Looks good with the ride

Yeah the lights came with the HID conversion kit which involved changing out the projector bulb with the 6000K one.

I think the light output is great compared to the 9006 I had before but yes the low beam light is intense and now the high beam seems very weak and mor spread out. But I'll take a pic against my garage and show you

What I mean by gaining acces to the projector, is can you actually take apart the projector from the housing? If so, here is a vid of my Depo headlights with many projector mods done, prism tail/z-tail mod, shield mod, color mod, washer mod, blackout mod, custom shield and more done to make overall better light output, more projected, wider, brighter, different cutoff line and of course colors!!!. check it out, massive color flicker:th_Video0019.jpg

As you can see, by moddifying the shield and such, can produce brilliant color effect. My light is still very bright white, just adds an effect or produces colors along the cutoff line.

All that flicker makes it look like the mother ship has landed or something....lol.

Bet on-coming traffic is thinking, "what the hell?"

Looks pretty awesome, though. Now get yourself some real HID projectors.... ;)

I know this is a month old thread, but JD, i recently got those same halo lights, except in chrome housing, mine did not come with hids. I was wondering if you ever got some light output shots on the garage or wherever. And also, Whiteout, what kind of mod do you do to the shield that does all the mothership landing effects? lol... looks cool..

Sorry for bringing up old thread,
