I have a 2003 tahoe. I sometimes have weird problems that started when i moved up north (its been in Florida its whole life til last year) when its cold and i first start it the ABS light will come on then when i roll forward a few feet it turns off. When i try to stop the first few times just lightly applying the breaks he ABS will kick in and i have trouble stopping. Has anyone else had this problem? Any solutions? Suggestions?

There was a recall on my 01 for faulty sensors, the salt and crap in the winter corroded them, they cleaned the hub surfaces and put new sensors on. Scary right? Feels like you aint gonna stop.....

The wheel sensors can get clogged with metal dust especially if you've ever run a set of brake pads all the way down to metal. They're magnetic and will hold the dust forever. You can blow them out with compressed air if you can get to them.
