My abs light has been demonstrating some curious behavior lately

Including but not limited to light turns on then off when starting
Pretty normal
But as soon as I drive over roughly 17mph It Turns on and stays on
Until I brake or go under 17 mph I tried slamming the brakes
Nothing
I tried adding brake fluid
Nothing
Any ideas what it could be?

Its doing the same thing for me too. from what I have herd it might be that the sensor is cloged up with break dust. the sensor is a magnet if im correct. My buddy told me to clean the sensor off and that will fix the problem.

Meh. Pull the fuse in the engine compartment, and pull the bulb in the dash. There's no rear ABS anyway, so the best you're going to do is lose traction on the two wheels that are already taking the majority of the stopping force.
