Hi all you smart peeps!

Got home today and noticed quite the leak on the driveway. I looked under the hood and it was dripping right below the AC accumulator…

The liquid looks like water and doesn’t smell at all (no, I didn’t taste it ).

One of my questions is: this is safe to drive and that I’ll simply lose AC cool air? I’m correct that it’s only some sort of leak at the accumulator?

Thanks!
Jason

That looks like water/condensation to me. Totally normal.

+1. Both of mine to it, too. Might want to double check to make sure the drain from the evaporator is clear - it's right behind and below the accumulator there.

Must be pretty humid where you live.
Run the AC on low blower down the highway, pull over and look, it will probably be white and frozen, then start to thaw and drip.
