I searched other threads, but this is a bit different than i found.

So last night, had he AC on, everything going fine. then a brief noise , and drivers side blowing hot air, passenger side, ice cold.
Cycled it off a few times, same thing. Parked a few hours, everything back to normal.
Do i have a nasty repair coming soon?

Blend door about 50 bucks on amazon, one screw is hard to get too. Suggest taking the old one out if it reoccurs to get exact model number before ordering a new one. I cleaned and redistributed gear lube and it hasn't done it again

if its just the blend door. I will probably wait to repair until it fails again. thanks for the information though.

I would just do it now, my old 06 did this and it may be months in between or every time I started it, very random. It is a guarantee that it will do it again.

Like Yates said, do it now. It'll get worse. I just did mine and it only costs $24.99. Go on fleabay and purchase a Dorman 604-106. The third screw for the cover in the passenger floorwell is a b*tch but can be done. Use a small socket on the end of a small extension. If you can get a ratchet in there with the extension and socket then great. If not, just turn by hand. Remember to reprogram system after you're done by taking out the hvac fuse in the engine compartment for one minute.
