Well after recentley replacing the fuel filter and lines. The ac began to blow hott yesterday bought a can of freon at autozone. Before i added it decided to make sure it was nothing serious after alittle time i found out the compressor has gone bad. My local mechanic is wanting to charge almost 500 to replace it. I found a Remanufactured A/C COMPRESSOR KIT for $175. I have also looked on youtube and it seems to be a fairly simple fix. Has anyone done this before? Also should i just spend $295.95 at my local autozone for the same kit just new? Ive never bought anything remanufactured dont know if its really a good idea. Ive attached the link below of the ac kit on ebay. Was hopeing it wouldnt give me anymore trouble for awhile but i guess my luck has run out. ITs just been siting for the last two weeks. Been driving my car still debating on selling or holding on to it for awhile longer. I attached a pic of it. Most likey going to put it back to stock very soon. BUt iam just ranting now. Any help with the ac delima would be very heplful thanks in advance
