Im about to order a belltech 2/4 drop kit with drop spindles. Since I have 95k miles I am going to replace my struts at the same time I install the drop. Should I get AC Deleco strut assembly or the adjustable belltech struts? The ac delco cost me $60 more than the belltech which isnt a big deal. Which one will last longer and ride better with a 2/4 drop?

I cant believe no one has replied, specially since sponsors on here sell these parts and its almost a thousand dollar order. Surely someone has ran both or has an opinion one which is better.

You asked this question before almost in your other thread.

I ave had my hands on Belltech Bilstein and OEM stuff.

Belltechs are mushy and way undercharged.

Thanks I appreciate it. Before I was trying to decide between drop spindles or the adjustable struts. I decided on drop spindles and just replacing the struts also even though thats not the cheapest route. I didnt know how the adjustable struts would ride at stock height or if it mattered since I am only planning on doing a 2/4 drop. Since I couldn't get any feedback I just ordered another set of OEM ac delco strut assemblies and the belltech 2/4 kit. The good news is I was able to find everything alot cheaper than what I see being advertised.

I personally am NOT a fan of BT drop struts.... many here have them and LOVE them.....

I think they are designed to be soft and mushy for people with 24's as the ride stiffens with larger wheels.

I personally felt they would have not worked for me at all.

I run AC Delco / Tenneco Z71 Shocks on Mcgaughys re locators. Set at 1.5, I got a full 2 inch drop in the front.

BT shocks are DESIGNED to be low charge..... to me that causes a "floaty / wallow" feel.

I went with bell tech dropped spindles, bell tech springs in the rear and ac delco struts and shocks.
