ac indicator blinking

Anybody had this problem? No matter how warm the outside temp is my ac indicator light blinks three times and wont turn on? I gather it has something to do with the outside thermostat?

Either outside temp sensor or low Freon. Just happened to mine, I have a leak somewhere and there was no Freon in the system

Sorry, it is a 2008 GMC Yukon with the Dual climate control system.

When I try to initiate teh AC it blinks three times and turns off. IT was about 75 degrees out and very sunny out, so you can imagine the temp in teh vehicle, ouch.

I am going to try and recharge the AC before I take it in... ANy help with how to do this?
