The dash button for the A/C quit working yesterday on my 95 Tahoe LT. It was working fine all summer. The recirculate button works and lights up. The A/C button does not light up and the compressor does not run. Any ideas?

same here. Luckily in texas we are in weather limbo where it is just perfect enough outside for it not to matter just yet. Go buy a a/c switch out of a parts truck and see if that solves it. Thats what im going to do..

On the back of your hvac control module you should have a light-green wire on your side connector if it outputs running voltage when the blower is on and the a/c switch is on and you have no compressor activity your refridgerant level is to low or your low pressure switch is broken. If not and all the hvac fuses are fine then your module may be broken. My schematic also shows that the light can burnout and the a/c still work. But it should be replacable like mine.
