Yea I used some zip ties and man it's crazy how much better that made itusually people put a zip tie on the cable end down at the gas pedal to take up any slack, you can use more than 1 if needed
That cable on the left has an adjustment. Not sure about the right one. If stretched too much it should be replaced.
I had a old mazda beater long time ago that had a manufacture defect of the throttle cable bracket actually breaking/ripping out of the firewall, mine happen to break the first day I was supposed to show up for training at DANA corp to build Toyota Tundra frames, there policy was 0 tolerance if you didn't make it to training everyday you were out. I was so pissed because I had beat out about 10,000 other people to that job. the break was practically unfixable as witnessed by numerous others in the junk yard but I macgyvered that mofo with a bracket I had a machine shop make worked perfect, drove that thing till it finally threw a rod, just one of those things that when you look back and realize it was a life changing event-stupid throttle cable smhYea I used some zip ties and man it's crazy how much better that made it
