I have a 2010 suburban lt 4wd with 170k. I got hosed on it from my ex wife and the thing was beat when I got it. Replaced all 4 front control arms. Both front cv axles. Both front hubs. I have a vibration that starts from 25 mph to about 45mph. It will stop as soon as I let off the pedal. Last week I found the drivers half shaft leaking. Got bearings and a seal. There was play in shaft coming out of axle. Went to change them and shaft no longer had play. Replaced seal and left bearings. Verified half shaft was locked into axle. Noticed the cv axle on driver side was smaller then pass. So I bought a new one from car quest and put it in yesterday. Still have vibration that used to only be 25-35 and now seems to Come in higher speeds up to 50. Completely lost and yes i replaced both u joints and balanced the drive shaft (I'm a diesel tech) any ideas?

Change ATF & filter.
Can you manually shift to a lower gear (3rd)? Suspect torque converter clutch. Bet she never changed the ATF.

The good news is, since you can turn wrenches a Burb is a walk in the park for a diesel guy.

At 170k mi the Ex just broke the truck in for you. If you don’t want to rebuild the 6L80, the option to update to a 10L80 is here now.

Find a slightly loved 10SP from a 2019 truck and you’ll pick up a few MPG, better launch and quieter, happier motor.
