I am looking to add a tuff country 81250 add a leaf to help the rear end sag.
I tow a boat too so the little added weight capacity couldnt hurt either. Questions are should I change the u bolts too while taking this apart? Change the shocks too? I hoping for a 1.5 lift in back. they claim up to 2 so i figure nobody ever really sees that number. Aside from the above items am I missing anything else for this little project?
Thanks.

U-Bolts, yes. Shocks. I would if it was me. I don't think you'd need to with only an inch or so of lift. But it will help with ride quality. And if their still the factory shocks, might as well upgrade if your lifting it now.

Just as stated above, never re-use U bolts. Shocks will be fine unless they are bad
