What do I need to add a sub to my stock headunit. 02 tahoe non bose

Then just grab the signal wires back there. Depending on what you want you could replace that oem stuff and keep the new stuff hidden

If you have a sub back there, there's a positive/negative speaker wire going to it. Take a Line Out Converter like this...

and make RCAs that would go into an amp

Where does it get the remote turn on for the amp

You'll grab that behind the radio or at the fuse panel
