Hello everyone, I’m having a problem and I can’t seem to find another posting that’s as detailed as I would like for my question. so the problem is I can’t get my heated steering wheel to turn on. I added a heated steering wheel to my Yukon and I bought a brand new heated clock spring and heated steering wheel and I installed them both today , But I can’t get it to turn on... I added the fuse in the engine bay and I also checked the inline fuse above the green connector that runs From under dash to the clockspring, (thinking it may have been blown when I got it by some weird chance) but it was fine ... I made sure it is all connected correct but still no power, the truck already had the harness for the option under the dash so all I had to do was buy the parts , do I need to go to the dealer and get this future unlocked in the bcm or am I missing something? I connect the two green connectors under the dash together then I connected the steering wheel green connector to the green connector in the clockspring and I plugged the connectors for the steering wheel controls in to their corresponding areas also... my steering wheel controls all work just not the heat and the heated button light doesn’t even flicker for a second when I first hit The button...This seems like it should be a straight forward “mod” so I’m lost now....Any help is greatly appreciated thanks !!

I would guess there would be a relay also. Check the fuse box for one.
