Have any of you added an additional battery? I'd like to be able to run some lights and fans while parked without running down my primary battery so my understanding is that I can add another battery for that purpose? Can anyone tell me what is involved?

There is the ppv second battery set up. I think that may work for you because the second battery will only power devices that are connected to a second fuse block that is involved in the kit.
What it won't do is add a second battery's worth of power for restarting or running additional items from the original non ppv fuse block.

So take that with a grain of salt and if it's what your looking for, go to the online parts dealers and search out thenpart numbers for the ppv battery, alternator wire harness and trunk fuse box.

Different year (2011), but I installed a second battery in the secondary tray (driver side) and ran the new cables to the passenger side battery, helped allot in available power for winter starting and running accessories.
