adding bose sub

Will a console amp and bose sub plug into my 01 that is non bose. . The sub now is in the back but found a bose sub and amp that goes in the console

The sub will plug in, yes. The amp will not. There is no wiring back there for it.

Oh, I misread this. You are wanting to add a newer model console that has the bose amp and sub in it? Technically, you could add it in, yes. But wiring it up would be a real pain in the rear. If the console is NOT from a Denali/Escalade then it has the more basic amp which if you really felt like it, you could wire it up. The amp in this console does not need a Class 2 signal to turn on. You may have to find a bose radio out of a 2001-2002 Denali or 2002 Escalade for it to work. It'd be a lot of work, but yes, it could be done.
