Adding Limited Slip/Locker?

I'm going to be picking up an 04' ESV Platinum this week. From what I've read it seems that after 2002 Cadillac/Denali got rid of the of Limited Slip rear diff and also the Viscous Transfer case in favor of an open transfer case and open rear diff... making this SUV 1 wheel drive in low traction situations.

My question is would I be able to swap in an LSD from an older model Escalade/Denali? Or even a G80 from a suburban?

How about the transfer case? Can I swap the older transfer case into my 04' and have it be plug and play?

My buddy has one in his Suburban 2500 and it seems to work really well. Didn't the pre 03 denalis come with LSD in the rear?

G80s are known for blowing up. I blew mine up real quick.
