Tires alone are sent unwrapped they just put the label on the tread.

Rims need to be boxed up properly 24x24x12 for a 22 is a good size IIRC.

If the tires are on the rims your limited to selling locally because you’re going to get crushed in shipping charges.

Everyone is running peak surcharges right now due to covid and the holiday season so you’re going to have to pay up right now if you’re wanting to sell. I would wait until afterwords to sell.

You can quote rates online, without peak charges you’re looking at $100-$150 to send 4 boxed rims depending on where they are going. You can factor this into the price, list it separately, whatever you want to do. Selling anything online you ALWAYS receive payment before shipping.

Buyers can use PayPal and have buyer protection if the deal goes south. If you send items and never receive payment there is nothing you can do.

Check with Greyhound as well... prices are decent for heavy & oddball sized items... bumpers, hoods, fenders...

This is not correct. Every package that goes through a UPS store or UPS retailer is weighed. Drivers who pick up packages from your home or business don’t weigh them before entering the truck or when xfering them to another truck for transit.

Sign for a package lately? Nope, Covid made that temporarily go away.

I’m sure somewhere, some driver has enough time and hates his job enough to get a crate marked for 150lb on to a scale somewhere in the processing facility to prove it’s really 179lb. UPS workers are simply trying to stay healthy during Covid. They’re susceptible in so many ways and have so much to lose if they get sick.

UPS has already made $6B more this year vs. last year. To the rest of you shipping UPS, print your labels at home, pay 1 or $2 for a home pick up and enjoy weighing your packages or freight knowing UPS is not putting everything on a scale as it moves from truck to facility to truck.
