I'm trying to figure out which one of these would be better for my application, mods are in my sig. I have dual pillar pod that currently is housing a boost gauge and an egt gauge (not hooked up). I was contemplating either the ScangaugeII or maybe the AeroForce Interceptor (it would be a nice touch to the pod), but wasn't sure how many of the functions of each actually work for the '97 Vortec. From reading the Aeroforce site it says that it may be limited to 9-10 functions instead of the 20+. I wanted to check and see if anyone else is running these in the same model truck and how well they liked them.

I've tried looking up more info on the Aeroforce, but it seems that most of the people I see commenting or recommending them have newer vehicles. Sorry if this is a redundant topic, I just didn't have much luck searching and finding out what I wanted to know.

Yeah, I had read that you did. I'm just wondering what functions are lost.

On a side note, I need to get in touch with you guys about a tune.

I use a ScanGuage II on my 98 Tahoe and i love it (and hate it). Love the information that it can give me, hate it as it tells me the Miles per gallon (ouch).

The only thing that it does not have is the Transmission temp and i really want to know that as i do tow a bit.

I had an Interceptor on my Cobalt SS. Hated it. Hard a hard time getting it to work, and then it failed right after 1 year. Never again. I will say their customer support was quick to respond but ended up not being useful at all in my situation.
