aFe intake install on 2017 - issues

On the fence regarding the AFE intake. I didn't want anything super noisy. I realize that its the nature of the beast. Just wondering how significant of a difference the plug made
Otherwise I will just use a K&N drop in filter

BlackBear, have you guys installed the AFE momentum in a 2017 yukon denali. Members on here said it won't fit and AFE says the have not fit it in a 2017 and that is why the website only lists it up to a 2016 model year.

It looks like AFE has a new momentum intake for the 2017 models part # 54-74110. The website says ship date of 8/31

No we have not, we do not install parts regularly. We have had reports from customers that have, with no issue.

I bought and installed the part number blackbear listed above from them When I ordered my tune. It was TIGHT but fit fine. I have a 2017 5.3L

For those of you that have installed the AFE cold air kit on a 17 5.3, is this CAI noisy when just doing your daily driving? How did you feel your vehicle perform once the install was done? Thinking of taking my Volant CAI 15553 off, can't stand all the noise it makes on my daily driving.
