So my original radio in my 97 Yukon decided that it didn't want to play cassettes anymore and that's a problem for my XM. So I installed a pioneer head unit I had laying around and all was great. I had my XM running through the AUX and had not a single problem. Now today my rear door speakers are no longer working, and they were working for the last week. I thought maybe I blew the rear door speakers so tried the original radio and the rear door speakers came on fine. I checked the wiring harness on the Pioneer and I can't find a problem, they are all soldered and heat shrink tubed. Any ideas what could have caused them to stop working? Also I have no idea if the back roof 4x10's are working because they were both blown and I couldn't stand the way they sounded so I removed them.

check the fuse for aux power.

I actually figured out that the remote/power ant wire was coming loose so fixed that and now I have an even bigger problem. As I was putting the pioneer back in the dash the radio cut off and wasn't even lighting up. So I thought maybe a fuse blew. I checked all the fuses in the car and the one on the radio and they were all good. Now I can't even get the stock radio to work. When I turn the headlights on the radio lights come on but nothing on the little screen, the only thing that will happen is the time will pop up for a second if it hit recall. Any ideas now????

a loose or broken main power or ignition switch trigger wire going to the head unit. take the unit back out and inspect it all and any terminals or splices on them.

The pioneer cut off and went completely black and I couldn't get it to come back on when I was sliding it into position. I also tried the original radio and now it no longer works. It will backlight when I turn the headlights on but that is it. I really can't figure out what is going on. All fuses are good.

So I have not been able to find a a problem with any of the wires. Is there anything else that could be wrong?

what exactly was the name off that wire you hooked up and what was it hooked to?

Not sure what you mean. I had a Pioneer HU that I was installing and it had the plug and play harness to fit the old radio harness and the antenna adapter.

Unless you mean the blue wire on the HU to the harness that powers the factory amp for the rear speakers.
