I am looking for an aftermarket rear diff cover, what does anyone on here run? Gonna clean up the rear end this summer, want to put one on, don't really want to paint the stocker

Yanking my rear cover, and a fresh refill is on my agenda soon, my stock cover is looking like ass, with lots of rust.

Still, even though I have only 39K on my Hoe, I feel that putting something fancy, something chrome, or Magtech. or magnatech, whatever they're called will almost be akin to putting lipstick on a pig.

Researching Lubes, again, I might be doing nothing more than wasting hard to come by cash with Royal Purple (@ $20/qt for 75-90W), or Amsoil which is about $15 per qt. I take it the 10 bolter takes 2.5 qts, so it means buying 3.

I think I'll just go with Mobil 1 75-90W again, clean the stock cover up real well, paint a semi gloss black, buy a FelPro Gasket, and hopefully be done with it for the foreseeable future. My most important concerns, are no freakin leaks after, and knowing I might've dumped out some nasties, and shavings in the process.

My truck sees 99% street use, so, as far as drain plugs, larger capacity, etc, it's not really a necessity for me, but you, or others might have different needs?

I reckon what those needs are will come on a personal basis.
