Forum. I recently left my 05 Tahoe with a local garage to repair the Transfer case. Drove home with no issue. Now the Stereo (aftermarket alpine Nav) sound doesnt work when the car is running, but will work for a short while in the Accessory position only. I am running it through a GMOS 100, and Chimes, SWC and everything else works. NAV works, radio works everything, just no sound when car is running. What is wrong, and is the work in the transfer case have anything remotely to do with the stereo?

What system do you have? The Bose or Factory Amplified? If you're using the factory amp, you have to cut the Pink line from the 2nd harness and attach it to your Rem. line.

I have a bose system, and it has the remote wire already spliced. as i am using a Rockford Fosgate Amp to a separate Kicker solobaric 10"

I pulled it apart and looked at the connections. Not sure what i did but it seems to work now. SO must have been a random coincidence.
