Air Conditioner sumthin, sumthin.

Hello everybody. Very new to all this forum stuff. Hope it helps! Here it goes:
Got a 2003 Tahoe that screeches eveytime my rpm's reach approx. 2000 but only when the a.c./heater us on. What is this and how do I fix it? Help!

do you mean it screatches in the speakers? if so do you have an aftermarket amplifier installed? sometimes a bad ground can catch engine whine and even when the A/C gets turned on..it happened to me before.

Thank you Josueh95 for such a quick response! Good lookin Bro! But no...i doubt it has anything to do with the stereo or amp. Jus bought this truck a month ago, it has stock everything. My mechanic buddy showed me the problem, pointed it out and proved it. He called it the air conditioner sumthin(?). But I cant recall the exact name and cant get ahold of him. WTF! Soooo...anymore ideas? And again...thank u very much for ur time!

BOOM...jus remembered the name. The a/c clutch! Thats wut it was! Gotta stop smokin! Lol..
