I want to get a new air filter restriction indicator but cannot be found at RA unless I am wrong. I went to GM parts and got the AC Delco part #15073765 but no luck with that at RA or Amazon.

I thought this was it but when I look at it at Amazon it says it does not fit my 2002 Tahoe. I can see a rubber grommet mounted in the filter housing and looks like this plugs right in but was told it is not right.

I thought I saw a crack in it but on closer inspection, no crack. False alarm.

I always figure that a device like that is there for a reason and I try to use it but I also look at the filter to be sure it is needed.

I don't wait till I hit a brake pad squealer, I look at them. I check belts and hoses without waiting for a belt to fly off or a hose to burst.

Many items are there to help avoid a breakdown. I get it though.

Those ''Squealers" are so nice. after I start to hear them I know I still have many more miles left on the remaining pads. I like to get them wore down to about the thickness of a dime or when the grinding starts.

To each there own then. I don't want to hear a squeal noise, ever! Grinding brakes are unsafe. The most important system on any vehicle is the brakes, period.

Just kidding Ron. I just replaced a rear caliper last week and installing new Napa premium pads today. I will post a few pics.
