Air lift suspension

Hey,

Just bought a 2004 Yukon XL K2500 6.0L today. I am looking to do an Air Lift Ride Control p/n 59526 on it. Does anyone have this setup? Pros vs. cons? Any suggestions on another system? I also ordered an S&B cold air intake system for it! Pretty stoked for that. Anyone have any other suggestions for getting some more juice out of this thing? I am going to be towing a trailer that is pretty close to the max tow weight, so I am looking for anything to get me up the mountain quicker without costing too much...

I haven't done one of those on a 2500, but plenty of other trucks and our customers have loved them. I just have the blatter style on my 1500 suburban.

For power, long-tube headers and exhaust are your biggest bang per buck items. A good tune will help out afterwards as well. Otherwise you'll need a supercharger to make any real dent in towing. I'm hopefully going to finally install my CTS-V supercharger within the next month. Waiting on the adapter plates and fuel rail to arrive. I'll have just over $2k in my supercharger setup.

That's awesome! I went with the air lift ride control system. It is amazing! I think that I will be doing the long tube headers and exhaust next. Do you recommend a specific set up?

I got the OBX longtubes. Inexpensive and fit really nice. Just had to modify the crossover pipe to fit, it was too long by about 4". I did a custom muffler setup, and about to redo it for the supercharger. I'm going to cut off the collector on the longtubes and run a dual in dual out 2.5" magnaflow with a built in true x-pipe, then two very small 2.5" race mufflers/resonators behind the axle and exit out the stock position. For a bolt on unit, I'd go with the NBRP unit.

I have the MBRP exhaust on my truck. It's 3" pipe. They make a stainless and a aluminized steel version. I have the stainless version. I really liked the sound, until I added longtubes and removed cats. Then it got stupid loud. I kept the pipe and replaced the muffler with a Magnaflow unit. I like it a lot again. :)
