Im guessing by your sig that you have an 02? The compressor may have just worn out. I have already replaced the one and all 4 shocks in my 05 Yukon. I would make sure that it is the compressor the rear shocks can leak also which can cause the compressor not to run. I would avoid the dealer at all cost as this system is very expensive to replace.

Does anybody now where to get replacement stuff cheap, or maybe convert it to a manual bagged system??

Check the cheap stuff first, but if all else fails and you need to replace things, check here:

It may seem expensive, but trust me, it's half the price of OEM stuff from the dealer. This stuff is crazy-expensive from them. I've got the compressor and Bilstein air shocks from them, and it all works great and rides smooth.
