Just out of curiosity, how often should the air ride be kicking on under normal everyday driving? I'm usually the only one in the vehicle and I'm not towing yet, but will be this spring and summer. When I acquired the truck last month, it kicked on about every day at start up for about 10 seconds then gradually got shorter for about a week. The dealer told me this was normal since the truck was sitting for awhile. Has not kicked on once since the first week and I have NOT loaded the truck down with nothing more than groceries. I'm assuming it will kick on when I load it down or hook up the boat later this year? No warning lights are on and no 'service suspension' message is displayed. Thanks for any input.

I'd check the compressor now. Mine runs for a few seconds every time I start the truck. The only time it didn't is when it was burnt out and needed to be replaced. Have 3 or 4 friends pile in the back and on the back bumper, then start it up. If the compressor doesn't do something, you probably need a new one.
