I know the day is coming when either the air shocks or the compressor is going to go. My question is can you just replace the airshocks with normal shocks and disconnect the air compressor or is there some sort of necessary conversion / adaptor kit?

Yes and yes. You can just remove the shocks, compressor and RTD fuse and the system will be non-functional. Just replace with standard shocks and you'll be good to go. If you wanted to try a different air shock, Arnott Industries makes a couple different air shocks for your truck as well.

Thanks Alex. I don't tow anyrthing and I just think a good set of shocks would work for me.

Whichever shock you go with, just let us know how you like it.
