Alarm and Headlights Question

Not sure if this is the right spot for this, but its electronics, i guess.

Product: Viper 5901 alarm
Vehicle: 2005 Tahoe
Question: At nite when i remote start my tahoe, the headlights come on, Auto lights im assuming, but the come on for about a minute, then go off, but then when i unlock it, they flash on & off like 4 times. Is there a way to disable the headlights from coming on/off/on/off etc.. and maybe have just the parklights come on. Im fixing to do a retro and dont want the hids to blow from going off and on so many times. Not really a big deal, dont auto start it that much, but its getting cooler out and will be using it more. Its only at nite, is why im assuming it has to do w/ the auto headlights. I would rather have the parklights go on or something. Assuming this is a find my car feature viper has, but i dont need to find my car. lol.

Hmm..must be set up a little different then mine. Mine come on and stay on, even when I get in and go. I didnt install mine and am regretting it. Hopefully its an easy fix for you

Really, if they stayed on id be alright, but if i remote start it, then say go to it in a bit, they are off, then unlock they flash away and then go back off until i push the brake.

Do you have the same model alarm? or close

I think its the same one, I would have to double check but that number sounds right. When my lights turn on when I start it at night I can get in put the key in, turn it to the one position or whatever and go, nothing changes. Lights dont come on during the day

Huh... its only at nite and with remote start.

Maybe he wired mine wrong. I wouldnt doubt it. Dont know..
