Finally getting a meth kit and some more boost from the TVS

Man, you're going to beat me to it. I've been planning on a meth kit but haven't got around to it yet due to other things I've been taking care of. Which kit are you going with? I've been looking at the kits from Snow Performance.
How much boost are you running right now?

I wanted more power so bad and i couldnt wait any longer so i called my local place and ordered it and this was the only thing i could do without rebuilding the motor and i get like 50-60hp with meth/pulley.

Alky meth is the way to go ive heard from alot of ppl its the best and its not that cheap stuff ya know...

i didnt see that part about the boost JK im runnin 6-7 now and im going to add 2 more with the bigger crank pulley

Yea, u should def see gains with the extra boost and the extra timing from the meth kit. I threw a 2.8" on the s/c and running about 8-8.5 lbs right now. Is your 1/4 mile time with the 20s?

DId you notice alot when you switched the pulley? I wanted to switch my pulley off my s/c to save money but i couldnt becasue they never made a smaller pulley for my Roush...


And Yeah i was running the SSS 20s

I noticed a difference, especially mid to upper rpms. I went from about 5.5 to 8 lbs and retuned and definitely felt it.
I've been running with the 24s. Still looking for a set of 17s to use at the track with slicks. These wheels are way too heavy, plus too much spin having to use street tires.

Thts sick, i hear the 6.0 can handle 10lbs of boost ...

yeah you should get some smaller wheels, youll for sure get a badass 1/4 mile. Is yours 2wd?

i run mine on 4wd so i dont need slicks or radils just a good set of street tires that hook cause they slip a lil
