Turned the Tahoe off and opened the driver door to get out and none of the interior lights came on. Dark as night.

Interior lights DO come on if I click unlock on my key fob. They go out after a few moments even when my driver door is open or any door is open for that matter.

What's wrong and how do I fix it? Just started happening tonight and it's really annoying.

Did you possibly turn on/push the dome light override button on accident? Not sure if the lights still come on when you hit the remote, but that is where I would start.

I would think dimmer switch or switch in door latch. Make sure the dimmer works in all positions. Or dome override like mentioned above.

Thanks guys for the fast responses!

I'm embarrassed, ended up being the dome override switch was pushed in. :emotions122:

I was on a dirt road today, I must have bumped it when it was bumpy.

Why be embarrassed? At least now you know it was/is no big deal and you will be able to sleep well tonight. ;)
