All of a sudden I hit Issue City

So for one my drivers rear window is stuck half way down. When I hit the switch I hear a real low high pitched whine for a second. Can you replace just the motor? I have no heat front and rear couple days later. I calibrated it to double check and nothing still. I have icy cold ac but no heat at all. I even try using my aux panel and still nada.Where are all the blend doors and could it be a resistor? Which leads me to a temp issue. When I’m driving to work on a long stretch getting up to 55-70 my temperature gets to 235ish just up to those speeds then back down when I get into town doing 40. This is only after the engine has been running for a while. I’m thinking the thermostat is sticking, but could it have something to do with the no heat issue? All these things have happened after I let my wife drive it while he vehicle was totaled until we got her something so go figure.

i just read last night that might be low and sure as hell was! I definitely learned my lesson on believing people that all my fluids are good. I will be on top of that and more, now to fix this window

The window problem may well need a motor but make sure you check the whole window track and make sure the bracket at bottom of window is still attached.

i just read last night that might be low and sure as hell was! I definitely learned my lesson on believing people that all my fluids are good. I will be on top of that and more, now to fix this window

I just moved to North Carolina,my wife has been here about 14 months. We were having Midas do our oil changes they looked the car over and said it needed spark plugs. Well when she visited me this summer plugs were fine but I changed them anyway when I did head gaskets because car was very low on coolant. The car was leaking coolant from the head gasket but they found no problems!

yeah im with you on that kinda bs. I just moved and couldn’t find my jack and stands so I figured I’d bring my stuff to the oil change shop and let them do it. Kid said all my fluids are topped off and good...that’s a week ago. I want to call up there but that will go in one ear and out the other.

If your coolant was low there is a reason why, coolant doesn't just evaporate, check for a leak, best way is to use a flashlight and get under engine/radiator/passenger side heater hose area and look up.

Yup...that coolant went somewhere. Typical leaks in our chassis is the plastic t's at the firewall where they attach to inlet and outlet of heater core, water pump weep hole, leaking seam of radiator.

yeah I’ll definitely get on that one,
I have another issue but with oil.
I’m leaking oil but not bad or anything I just get the smell when I’m stopped and it’s not smoking or anything. Pretty much I have a bad seal somewhere. What are the common spots on these 5.3s?
