Hey guys. I'm looking at buying an 01 Tahoe this Sunday to become my daily driver. Currently my 01 Tacoma is my daily driver so the Tacoma will become an off-road and camping specific rig while I rack up miles on the Tahoe. Here's the Tacoma.
So I have a few questions going into this buy. It's an 01 2wd Tahoe. Would 285/75r16 tires fit by just cranking the torsion bars about an inch or would I need more lift than that? I ask because I have some sitting behind my house if I can make them fit I won't have to buy tires for a while.
Next I always replace headlights on a new to me vehicle because it always seems to make a night and day difference in the looks. Would Amazon or eBay be the best places to buy headlights? And is there any brand that seems to be best?
The fuel gauge doesn't work on the Tahoe so I did a little reading and it seems it's the sending unit in the tank that is the common problem for that. Is the common practice to just replace the whole fuel pump?
Thank you for your patience with a Tahoe newbie
