Has anyone thought of getting the new 8" Alpine INE-Z928HD for there
2000-2006 Tahoe/Yukon trucks. I know they dont make a perfect fit kit for our trucks yet but thought I would ask you guys here how you would get this to fit into our trucks without there perfect fit kit?

Yates,
I know there are two other threads regarding this head unit
My thread is regarding the head unit in a 2000-2006 truck NOT
the 2007 and up truck.

Ah sorry I didn't notice the section as I was on my phone. I think the only way to make the adapter would be custom and you should do it so I can look at the pics. :hands:

Ive kinda looked at some options and what would have to be done to make this deck to fit. And I'm 95% sure the AC controls have to be moved to fit in a 2000-2006. At that point the question do you go all the way and put an iPad in and get a little bugger screen since you're moving the AC controls anyways or stick with the deck that would have everything in one spot and simpler??
